No More Guitar Hero? What in Tarnation?!

Activision, the company behind Call of Duty, Tony Hawk, and Guitar Hero is axing (And if you're in tune with puns, then you might already guess which one) one of its series. And unfortunately, it's not Tony Hawk.

Found here in this article: http://www.joystiq.com/2011/02/09/report-activision-axing-guitar-hero-and-true-crime-freestyle-g/?icid=maing|main5|dl3|sec1_lnk3|42713

And also here: http://mashable.com/2011/02/09/guitar-hero-dead/

is news that the Guitar Hero series is in fact, as dead as Elvis Presley.

I haven't played the series in awhile, but I've always preferred it to Rock Band. It's a shame that it has to go. I might have picked up another one down the line if they featured a double guitar option.

Oh, well.

Check out this clip below to see the awesomeness of G Hero when it was at its finest.
